Thunder Moon Self-Care: Get Creative


July’s full moon brings a time of self-reflection, enjoyment, and intense, stormy energy. This stormy energy can rile up some angsty and/or big feelings. (Reminder is that angsty feelings are not “bad” feelings. There are no “bad” feelings!) Rather than getting lost in these feelings, we can use them as inspiration. We can channel them. We can use them to Get Creative!


Sky’s the Limit!


Putting your feelings into creation can look like anything you want. It can be physically creating something with your hands. A painting. A collage. A piece of pottery. It can be something you create with your mind. Creative writing. Poetry. Music. It could be something you do with your whole body. Dancing. Modeling. Gardening.


There are endless ways to be inspired and create. Use those big, intense, stormy, angsty, all consuming feelings and get them out through creation. The release will be cathartic. And you’ll end up with something incredible in the end that you, yourself made.


Remember. You deserve to care for yourself, inside and out. Take that time. You are incredible. You can do it. Have a wonderful Thunder Moon! I love you.
